Z50 , XR50 , CRF50 Airbox Mod

Want to make air flow better into your motor, but dont want to hack up your stock airbox?

Heres what you can do.

1. Remove the airbox , then split it apart.

2. Pull out the foam filter element and filter bracket.

3. Now remove the backfire screen (cut it out or use pliers)

4. After cleaning up metal chips/dirt, replace the filter element and filter bracket into the airbox.

5. Now time for fabricating. Get out some sheet metal....and make a holder that goes across the filter bracket(this will hold the filter in, replacing the other half of the airbox). Doing this also prevents you from having to hack up your airbox. This gives you the choice to put it back on if you need to.

As you can see in the pic below I drilled holes in the bracket i made. The holes don't really help much, but it looks cooler :-)
